Director of Photography
I see stories through light, composition and movement.
I am a Director of Photography driven by the art of visual storytelling and the belief that every frame should carry meaning.
My work is rooted in a passion for creating compelling images, shaping atmosphere and translating stories into powerful visual experiences. Through intentional lighting, thoughtful composition and purposeful camera movement, I aim to create imagery that connects with audiences and gives every story its own visual identity.
From the landscapes of Cofimvaba to the professional film industry, my journey has been shaped by determination, experience and a continuous commitment to the craft of cinematography.
I approach every project with a commitment to discovering its unique visual language.
My work is driven by the relationship between light, shadow, colour, texture, movement and composition.
I am passionate about creating images that do more than look beautiful. I want every frame to communicate something, evoke emotion and contribute to the story.
My approach is collaborative. I believe in working closely with directors, producers, production designers and the wider creative team to translate creative ideas into a strong and consistent visual experience.

Rural landscapes, golden-hour light, authentic African stories and strong compositions. Frames that honour where the story comes from.
Developing and executing the visual language of a production in collaboration with the director.
Delivering precise, expressive and intentional camera work that supports the director's vision.
A camera operator who uses mechanical or electronic control wheels, rather than a standard fluid head or joystick, to control the pan and tilt of a camera.
My journey is a reflection of persistence, ambition and a belief in the power of opportunity.
Coming from Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape, I carried a dream of becoming part of an industry where stories are brought to life through images.
My education at City Varsity in 2015 laid an important foundation for my professional journey. Since then, every production, every collaboration and every opportunity has contributed to my growth as a cinematographer.
I remain committed to learning, evolving and pushing my creative boundaries.
I believe in the importance of representation, and I hope my journey can inspire other aspiring filmmakers from rural communities to believe that their dreams are possible.
I am available for film, television, commercials, documentaries and other visual storytelling projects.
Whether you are developing a new production or looking for a cinematographer who understands the importance of visual storytelling, I welcome the opportunity to collaborate.
